But even with well-insulated ducts, the air may warm before the time it reaches each room. This does not happen when you have a ductless mini-split system.

Drawbacks

There's actually only one negative aspect to mini splits and it really only applies to a few individuals. Considering that you'll be spending on one indoor system per room, installment can be extremely expensive for larger houses with a number of rooms.
