Good Morning,
I'd like to pass along a word of thanks and a "Who Done Good" as we call it in our jurisdiction. I was in Sun City over the weekend of September 24th attending to some family (In-laws) matters. On Saturday morning I noticed we had no hot water. I check the water heater and the pilot light was out. I tried to light the pilot several times with no luck. Fearing the worst I decided to contact a "Licensed Plumber" which I found in the "Yellow Book". After answering a few questions I was told that a representative would be at our location "by 1:00 pm" and there was not extra fees applicable because it was Saturday (weekend). At 1:00 sharp Rob Steiner came to our door. He introduced himself and proceeded to place a mat at the front door and put shoe covers/booties on to protect our flooring. He did his initial inspection and gave me three scenarios, best, second and worst along with a price for each. We went with the best scenario which of course was the least expensive and the probable cause. Rob worked on the water heater for about a half hour as he had estimated, straightened the area and took his tools to his vehicle. When he returned he finished the transaction with his new iPad 2 (impressive by the way).
I am a District Manager of a Building and Safety division in Southern California. We strive for and pride ourselves on customer service. Occasionally we will receive someone's opinion, good or bad, and use this to either praise our staff for "doing good" or as a training tool so we can do better. So, I would like to thank 1-800-PLUMBER and recognize Rob Steiner for a "job well done". The entire process was virtually painless. Rob showed up on time, presented himself in a professional and courteous manner, did not do more, or charge more than it took to make the required repair and took the extra time and precautions necessary to protect our home and furnishings.
Thank you again for a "job well done"
