Keith Glass

Director of Training & Technical Services

Mr. Glass is responsible for the 1-800-PLUMBER training programs, price book customization, vendor programs, and the technical aspects of the plumbing industry. Trenchless technology, epoxy coating for water supply piping, and the benefits of water jetting drain lines are some of the focus areas, along with plumbing code requirements.

Mr. Glass has spent his 35 year career in the service industry building teams and businesses, through process improvement systems and training. His experience encompasses both the plumbing industry and the automotive/industrial aftermarket.

Before joining 1-800-PLUMBER, Mr. Glass was Operations Manager for Mr. Rooter of Southwest Florida, expanding the service area and implementing systems for increased productivity both in the office and with field technicians. Prior to that, Mr. Glass was with Mr. Rooter Corporation based in Waco, TX, as Manager of Technical Services and Training, and as a Franchise Business Consultant. He was responsible for initial franchisee training conducted in Waco, system training for technicians with field seminars, vendor relations, and the franchisors technical liaison for all aspects of plumbing. He served as a Business Consultant for 23 Mr. Rooter locations in five states in the Southeast that produced more than $20 million in sales and annual growth exceeding 20%.

Mr. Glass served as President of Central Carolina Services, Inc., a residential new construction and remodeling plumbing company in Raleigh, NC. This company specialized in high end custom homes working with the leading builders in the area. They also provided custom bath and kitchen remodeling. Mr. Glass started his plumbing career with Roto-Rooter Services Company in 1990 as Division Manager, growing and expanding locations in eastern Virginia and central North Carolina. The 10 year tenure started in Virginia Beach, VA, growing from 3 to 27 service trucks, and then to Raleigh, NC, where he grew from 9 service trucks to 27 in less than 3 years, producing revenues in Raleigh in excess of $3.5 million. Mr. Glass had complete P&L and Operational responsibility for the businesses.

In the automotive/industrial aftermarket, Mr. Glass was President of Maintenance and Repair Products Company in Norfolk, VA. He started as a Sales Agent with Bowman Distribution of Cleveland, OH, progressed to Regional Sales Trainer, and District Manger of Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. Both of these companies provided fasteners and equipment repair parts to auto dealerships, fleet garages, industrial maintenance departments, and contractors.

Mr. Glass attended Old Dominion University, several training certification courses, including Dale Carnegie, and has held plumbing licenses in Virginia and North Carolina.
